Bill holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Ocean Engineering from Florida Institute of Technology (Florida Tech) and has spent his entire career working for Tensor Engineering. Under the tutelage of Tensor’s Founder, Walter Gatti, Bill learned firsthand how to apply his skill set to the steel bridge industry.
Over his 38-year career, Bill has been the technical lead and project manager for some of the country’s most challenging projects, including the East Span of the San Francisco-Oakland Bay Bridge and Boston’s Zakim Bridge over the Charles River. Bill’s lengthy career at Tensor Engineering has given him a broad based exposure and hands-on involvement in the fabrication of over 3000 steel bridges, making him one of the industry’s most knowledgeable individuals.
Bill is a family man that is a firm believer in traditional values of God, Country and hard work. Those values are key to the ongoing success of Tensor Engineering and relationships that he has made within the industry.
Through Bill’s leadership, Walter’s legacy remains alive and well at Tensor Engineering and across the 4000+ bridges that define the skyline of major cities.
